We've been going to this cafe for about a year. This was our favorite place with wonderful French desserts, delicious coffee and quality food, where we regularly ate breakfast once a month. However, today I was very disappointed. I ordered two different bagels, Dutch babies, a muffin, a cheesecake, an eclair and a Latte Macchiato. The girl-bartender told me that they don't have Latte Macchiato. It’s very strange, because I drink and order only this coffee here. It was always wonderful here and in the right proportions. She offered to make me a Cafe Latte and said it was the same as a Latte Macchiato. But no. It turned out to be black coffee with a little milk foam. Dutch babies are a separate disappointment today!!! Look at the photo. They didn't rise at all!!!Usually these are very puffed, fluffy pancakes, weightless and incredibly tender. Today's version was like hard rubber. I only noticed this at home, otherwise, of course, I would have refused to pay 14 euros for this disgrace. My daughter, who absolutely loves die Creme muffins, refused to eat it today. She said it was tasteless. The taste was really chemical, as if from a cheap store. The cheesecake was also not tasty with this chemical aftertaste… I am very sorry to write this review and give a bad rating. But I want the owner to see my review. After all, for us it was a place where it was always delicious and the products were of excellent quality. I don’t know what happened today in the cafe, maybe the chef has changed, but today’s rating is...
Read moreWhile visiting Berlin, I stumbled upon this absolute gem — Die Cream. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the warmth of a truly homemade experience. The breakfast was absolutely amazing — every bite was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with love. It’s rare to find a place where the food feels so authentically homemade, and Die Cream nailed it. From the flavors to the atmosphere, it was exactly what you hope for when you’re traveling — a place that makes you feel at home with incredible food. If you’re in Berlin, do yourself a favor and make Die Cream your first stop. You...
Read moreI have been to this place twice this week, it is very close to my hotel with incredible breakfasts. The weekday service is excellent, the Russian girl and the Colombian girl make delicious coffees and are very friendly. I went yesterday and I don't understand how they can allow someone with so little experience to make coffees or serve the tables, the blonde girl who didn't even speak good English or German, made horrible coffees without even a decoration (which for the price should be) and I saw her cleaning the cups with her fingers. Besides that you can tell she has no training as a waitress, she doesn't greet, throw plates or have any manners. Besides being all the time gossiping with the brunette girl about inappropriate topics that I could understand since I...
