Hasir Restaurant Wilmersdorf — Restaurant in Berlin

I recently visited this restaurant for a mid-day lunch. While the place was relatively empty, making it easy to find a seat outside, the constant traffic noise was far from pleasant. The lack of vegetation along the road made the experience feel like dining on a polluted street.

The service was disappointingly slow and lacked any warmth or pleasantries. I ordered a starter and a main dish, both of which arrived at the same time—a clear sign of poor coordination.

The starter, Mütebbel, was a letdown. It was overly sweet and bland, tasting more like plain yogurt with a hint of aubergine. Essential ingredients like garlic, paprika, and walnut were completely absent. The bread served with it was dry and seemed to be at least a day or two old. At €10.50, this small, lackluster starter was far from worth it.

The main course, Çöp Şiş, was equally disappointing. This dish should have included lamb shish kebab with grilled vegetables and salad, but what I received was a poorly presented plate. Instead of shish kebab, there were just a few pieces of chopped meat accompanied by a halved, raw tomato and a small pepper—neither of which were grilled. The flatbread was cold, and the small portion of rice did nothing to salvage the dish. At €24.60, the price was outrageous for such a subpar meal.

To top it off, the Ayran I ordered was excessively salty and priced at €5.90, making it yet another overpriced item on the menu.

Overall, this is one of the worst and most overpriced restaurants in the area. If you have the time, I strongly recommend choosing a different restaurant where you can enjoy better service and more...

Disappointing Experience - Not Recommended

I recently visited Hasir Restaurant for lunch with my nephew, and unfortunately, it was far from a satisfying experience. We ordered two dishes: the regular Adana Kebab and the Adana Yogurt Kebab, which set us back a hefty 48.4€.

First off, the portion sizes were surprisingly small for the price. I've attached a picture to give an idea of just how underwhelming the servings were. While the quality of the food was decent, it was nowhere near good enough to justify the steep price.

To add to the disappointment, when I tried to express my concerns to the waiter, his only response was "ogey ogey" (which I assume was meant to be "okay okay"). It seemed like there was no real interest in addressing customer feedback, and my points were brushed off without a second thought.

One of the reasons I enjoy Turkish restaurants is because they often provide a small starter or tea as a gesture of hospitality. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. The staff seemed more focused on getting us out of the place quickly so they could clean up, rather than ensuring we had a pleasant dining experience.

Overall, based on the small portions, high prices, and lackluster service, I cannot recommend this restaurant. There are certainly better options out there where you get more value...

Very great experience having dinner in Hasir. It was 24th of December, we were 4 travelling from Spain and we had booked in another place, but because of a mistake we almost couldn't have dinner anyway and the crew from Hasir helped us a lot. Not only the gave indications about how to solve our problem, they also gave us a table for 4 without reservation and saving our Christmas dinner. Every time with a smile, having pattience while we were trying to understand the menu (just 2 of us spoke English), explaining everything we need... And even after that they decided our coffee was by the house! And about food... Incredible experience. Variety, amazing flavours, many options for choose... My parents never tried it before and were very surprised, my mum said several times how happy she was because our first restaurant option didn't worked. Definitely, it's absolutely a 10 for all: the food, the crew and the treatment. Thank you very much for everything. We will recommend you...
