This Italian place near the hotel was a good change of food wise during our travels. As much as I love German food sometimes you just want something else. So, you can never go wrong with pizza! It was a super pleasant evening on our way back from the day’s sightseeing.
Everyone was hungry and Dolcetto looked good. We sat outside. Service was decent. The margarita pizza wasn’t greasy. Nice tomato sauce but lacked any basil which I think is a signature of this pizza and fresh mozzarella. The prosciutto/arugula faired much better. Nice crust with plenty of the ham and shredded cheese on top. Of the two this was probably the better pick.
Typically, you can’t really go wrong with pizza. Some makes better than other with ingredients how it is baked. Dolcetto did the trick for us but picky pizza aficionado...
Read moreI can not recommend this place. Went here with my girlfriend and both the soup as well as the pizza did not taste nice (the base was ok but the toppings were poor quality). The wine we had also tasted very bad. On top the waiter was very unprofessional... Asking him about the wines he explained them as the same but with different taste.
I would try to find a different restaurant will certainly not come again and would not recommend it to anyone (especially not in Berlin were the food scene...
Read moreI was very much surprised of this Italian, from the outside I didn't expect much as an ordinary german standard Italian. But instead you get a very clean and short menu, missing out some of the classics even - always a good sign! We all ordered pasta and some antipasti and all was nicely prepared and tasted very good. The pasta I would even say were 100% on point for al dente. I am happy to come back to the place and will fully recommend to anyone searching for a good...
