FIVE ACE Food & Drinks — Restaurant in Berlin

I came here after my holidays when my fridge was still empty and I wanted a homemade meal. It was not convenient to commute to my parents and I remembered that this place in my neighborhood has homemade Vietnamese food - food that I grew up with. I was happy to find authentic Vietnamese food on their menu that I myself haven’t cooked or eaten for ages and which you won’t necessarily find in other Vietnamese restaurants. And it tasted so delicious, just as I know from my family. The service was super attentive and nice as well 😊 So, if you crave authentic homemade Vietnamese food cooked by a Vietnamese family, I can recommend this place...

Service is very slow, food is unsatisfactory. I ordered a banh mi and wonton soup, ended up waiting for 35 minutes. The soup tasted strange - very salty and sweet, basically a mixture of salt & MSG.

There are many Vietnamese restaurants in the area, I would avoid this one.

*update: The response was untrue at all: I went alone without a friend, and received no friendly goodbye - the lady was apparently very busy with the orders. My review was only made in my honest opinion. Please take the feedback constructively, instead of making false stories up and accusing me. I believe this will make you a better...

I recently moved into the neighborhood and was intrigued by this what turned out to be wonderful shop! I've been twice in 3 days now! Not only are the authentic food and desserts, (many things I haven't seen anywhere else in Berlin) absolutely delicious, but the family that owns and runs the shop...I've met 3 sisters so far...are an absolute delight! They explained the dishes and the stories behind some of them and couldn't have been friendlier. I look forward to...
