Flamingo - Tealicious — Restaurant in Berlin

I am sad to say that this was the most disgusting bubble tea experience I’ve had in my entire life, and I’ve had MANY bubble teas before.

Let’s start by the tea: I ordered a mango milk tea (4€ something), which was basically water and some mango syrup or something. I asked with less sugar, but it was still extremely sweet. They forgot to add tapioca pearls to my drink, and when I complained they just opened the lid and dropped some pearls in it. Everything was just tasteless sugar.

Now, the food: I ordered a “bao burger” (5,50€) and this is probably what made the experience the ultimate worst. I asked for a “seitan chicken” filling, which was brown (red meat-like), thin, and unlike any other seitan anything I’ve ever eaten. I had to ask twice if it was actually seitan. The taste was so disgusting I wanted to throw it away after only one bite, and ended up eating only the bread and nothing else.

Now, the store: when you enter there is a weird smell like rotten fruit, and it’s such a small place that it’s always crowded and very loud. I don’t think there is a bathroom either (but I’m not sure).

I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the owner doesn’t seem to be a bad person, and even her little daughter who’s maybe around 5 or 6 was there helping out on a Friday afternoon. But unfortunately, I prefer to travel for 20 min by metro to go somewhere else than to go to this store which is just...

The boba was so incredibly and disappointingly bad. Not even bad. Horrible. Can't taste the tea in it. All chemical taste. It's like the BOBQ stuff you get from that terrible "boba" chain. Gross.

I'm sure staff is nice and place is cozy (a friend was around and picked it up for us). I feel sorry to leave such a bad review but I felt like I wasted my money on this 5,50€ for some trash milk tea. And I'm the same person who is ok spending 100€ for melted cheese in a stone pot ...

Please just do offer less stuff and focus on what you actually want to sell at this place ! Reading all the other reviews it seems like they...

I absolutely LOVE this place! I like how it’s close to my home and that the people there are always so kind and friendly! I go there every month and the woman there is always very cheerful! 😍❤️ once I came exactly at 12 when the store was supposed to be open and she wasn’t there yet so me and my friends waited for a while. Then when we were about to leave she spotted us and told us to wait while her Uber dropped her off. She apologized and gave us discounted bubble teas bcs we waited extra!! I just love...
