Hellas Feinkost — Restaurant in Berlin

Stopped by for lunch as we were passing in the neighborhood and this quaint shop welcomed us, warm and inviting just like the Grecian sun.

Think deli style shop with a large selection of “mezzes” one can take to go. For mittagsessen they feature daily lunch specials as well as regular plated gyro platters and moussaka etc on their fixed menu. I liked the idea of lunch specials as it changes frequently and you can choose and pair what you like. I took the meatball while my partner had the beef goulash. We found it all to be a great combination of freshness and pop of lemon zest in each bite. All in all amazing flavors and it’s a pop of Grecian Sun in not so sunny Berlin.
