HOONGY — Restaurant in Berlin

New resturant opened in my neighborhood and I couldn't be more excited! I have found out about HOONGY from a friend and decided to visit as soon as possible. The place is nicely decorated consisting of different sitting areas, perfect for group meeting, kids, dates, etc. The staff is very attentive to the guests needs. I also have appreciated the ambiance and tidiness of the place. Regarding my order, I had the HOONGY ice tea and was surprised by the taste which is sweet and refreshing and I fully recommend it! For food, I had a variety of starters and finger food, (just fish based and vegetarian), as I wanted to try as many as possible from the dishes. I have appreciated the use of fresh vegetables and fruits and the taste of the dishes had me undecided over which one I liked most, but I can confess that the shrimp ones are a must try! I'm recommending HOONGY for anyone interested in good Asian food that is not too pricy but still a good quality, as well as taste and their big variety of drinks. Looking forward to...

A nice and overall positive experience, with a great price/taste ratio.

Food is overall very tasty, well served and well made. A good example is the Papaya Salad, they cut Papaya slices thinner than most restaurants which gives more taste. Pho's are excellent too, soups are not too sweet, have many different herbs which gives a very unique taste and each Pho has a different broth to give it a unique flavour. Chicken and beef itself were average ok, but reasonable for the price still.

Service is friendly and efficient, they didn't miss anything in our order, we asked for a bit more spicy and got plenty of fresh cut chili's. Maybe some more unique beers on the menu could be wished for, but the ones they have a good classic choices. Definitely an overall...

Friendly and caring service and an original ambience, it was very decorated for Samhain at the time. There is a tatami area.

With lots of interesting suggestions on the menu, we chose gyozas with a duck bowl and a sushi plate. The flavour was good, but unfortunately they put full salmon sushi, instead of the tuna sashimi that was advertised in the dish.

The desserts were the only bad experience. There was something definitely wrong with them, did not taste good at all.

We seriously tried eating the desserts but just couldn't because it was so bad. Ended up leaving them there and still paying in full. I really hope it was a one time thing... For the rating, I balance that with the...
