TRULY WORST EXPERIENCE! First of all, the only reason why we even decided to go to this place was because of the other yogi haus in schöneberg.
The service was truly horrific. The waiter was annoyed with us from the start (we do not know why!). When we ordered samosa as a starter and asked for a plate, he started telling us that we were supposed to just eat in one. Afterwards he got us a tiny plate with a very annoyed look.
The malai kofta was good, the plain and garlic naans were undercooked and thick (Pro tip: if naans are undercooked or cold, they'll become elastic like rubber). For some reason, we were also provided us with a bhatura which we did not order (I'm not complaining about the extra food here but it was very oily and not good tasting).
We ordered Naji shake (which consists of almond and honey). The drink was very bland. The almond taste was lost in the milk and it was neither sweet nor salty.
When you run a good restaurant one should accept card payment. I had to run off to the bank to get the money.
We did not expect this at all. Neither the service nor the food was good. When we told the waiter in the end that the almond drink wasn't good, he argued with us for a while and brought us some more. The other sample actually tasted quite good (I mean the almonds were there and it had a sweet taste). This shows the inconsistency on the part of the cooks.
Final remark: I do not know how it was for the other people as quite a lot of them have left positive reviews. The restaurant owners should know better than to treat people like this as it spoiled our...
Read moreVegan people, be careful and don't count on the allergen map of the menu! And better say right away that you are vegan and explain what it means. I normally like indian food because there are lots of vegan options. I saw the menu and thought "how cool, all the allergens and ingredients are listed for each dish!" For example, G is for dairy, so I have to avoid dishes with G. Very easy! But then... everything started to fall apart. First of all, ginger tea came with honey in it (never in Germany I had honey in ginger tea!). Then in a starter which didn't state any meat ingredients came chicken. Then in a dish which stated no dairy in the menu came a salad with yogurt sauce... I just really wish their menu matched the reality. Two stars for the staff which was friendly and...
Read moreCame here with some doubts due to.the previous reviews, been surprised as i was.welcomed with a very nice service! You know when u go to a burger place and u rate by trying it's classic, for me in an indian restaurant that was the palak and! It was one of the best i had in Berlin! To top it off i was also served a small salad with some bread! I felt the gesture was classy and nice the food was great! Their spices though were not as strong as i hoped but that's nitpicking. The portions were average but given the extras i left more than satisfied! Will...
