First, the basics. It's in a great area with a lot of dining options. A LOT. The pricing and variety were great. Outdoor seating was comfortable. Indoor seating is as well and quite large and well decorated. Clean bathroom as well. I dined on the mid day mittag menu and a soup and salad is served with it along with a crispy bread and selection of sauces which were fun to try. Happy about finding some real spicy flavours that are often hard to find in Germany. There is a full bar as well as plenty of selection for non alcoholic drinks. The first server we encountered was not kind and not interested in our business. He was too aggressive with his tone and his demeanour was dismissive and cold. The younger one was quite nice. The food came out quick but not too quick. It all tasted 3.5 out of 5 stars. The problem is this.. Their idiot tough guy who was the first server was so rude and uncomfortable with us that we couldn't shake that feeling of not being wanted. THEN, and have picture to PROVE, I found a black human hair in my chicken madras. Very irritating especially after having eaten most of it already. There is no reason for hair in food if you make everyone entering a kitchen wear a hair net. Just like you should wear gloves when preparing foods. So, all put together, I feel I'm being generous. I've worked with food in professional kitchens. I know. I'll go back to try the service and food quality again. If it's still the same I will be bringing this to 2 stars which would be a shame.

Probably my new favourite Indian restaurant in Berlin. Food was excellent, I loved the mixed pakoras! We also had chicken sabji which was alright but wouldn’t order again. The real discovery was the shahi baingan, aubergines with soft cheese, cashews. Lovely. The sauce was perfect to dip the amazing batura in. Wish I had another stomach to try the naan but will do next time! Staff was very polite and attentive. I also appreciated the sober ambience for an Indian restaurant. Super clean too.

Excellent food. Ask for recommendations and don’t take what everybody does ;-) Also, share. Just pick one dish per person and share. Don’t be so German, it’s an Indian restaurant and if you let yourself you can get a pretty good Indian food experience. But to get that: share dishes and don’t pick meat. Go for the vegetarian stuff. The meat is good - but you’ve had that before ;-)

This review is based on take away service. Service: Based on limited contact with staff, everybody seemed very helpful and polite.

Preparation: Food was prepared in less time than was estimated when order was placed. It was impressive how quickly everything was made considering the restaurant was half full at point of pickup.

Food: the chicken soup was absolutely delicious. The other dishes were also pretty decent. I think the prices are a little high for quantity and quality, however I think if dining in, that would be justifiable with the added ambiance and service. I think Tandoori should always be enjoyed in restaurant because it is best served sizzling hot, however it was still tasty.

A small note to the management, one of the dishes we ordered had raisins in it, which was not written in the description. It may be good to add it.

Also the website suggests that PayPal payments can be made, which is not an option at point of payment when placing an order.

All in all, a positive and enjoyable meal. Next time we will dine in the restaurant for the...

OMG , I put two stars instead of one cause the place is pact, and the people seem to enjoy. But if you are expecting good Indian of any region you made the wrong choice. Food is unacceptably bad . we covered a good part of the menu on two visits ( was brought here by German host). We fall in to the same situation as other asian and south east asian restaurants in Germany , adapted to safe white european tastes. Everything from the mulligatawny , nan bread , butter chicken , panneers , curries , grilled plates are a joke , we where laughing as we were eating to the distress of our German guest. Either they don't have access to ingredients or no proper back of house trained kitchen or both . Just think you are being served commercial prepared , jarred and frozen foods, grocery store bought nan's etc. Anyway won't go on . I think you get it , to be avoided. The services though was great, friendly and place as a nice...
