Ordered Chicken Noodles, Chicken soup Spring rolls Shangai sweet and sour chicken The portions are really big. Out of 4 items, only chicken noodles tasted very good without any complaints. But, Chicken soup was not that bad except there was a wierd smell, from the bamboo shoots used in the soup. Bamboo shoots sometimes may have a wierd somewhat urine like smell and it needs to be cooked properly by experienced cook to get rid of the smell. There were few bamboo shoots in the chicken soup that ruined it. Next for shanghai Sweet and sour chicken, I appreciate the quantity. It was a good large portion of chicken, But the sweet and sour sauce felt like sugar syrup. Being a home cook myself, I can say, using more garlic and ginger and less sugar syrup should help giving some flavour to the food. Also, a bit of onion leaves as garnish will improve the dish. Spring rolls were oily. Probably, Try baking them next time. I gave 4stars just because I don't want to defame the restaurant. The portions are good. Bad experience especially with the courier. He couldn't find the doorbell so he called me without even identifying himself. He spoke German badly and no English. It took me 5 minutes to work out who he was and what he needed. I was constantly interrupted on the phone when I was trying to help him. He shouted on the phone, didn't say hello, was arrogant and rude at delivery time. On top of this one of the dishes (curry noodles, prawns and vegetables) was untasteful. It was not eaten. Definitely my top 3 in area. Tried most of menu except sushi and I love it all. One of the best Tom kha gai I ever had. It is really affordable also. Delivery time is low however sometimes in rush hours you will have to have patience. Great and friendly people running this small restaurant, love you guys!
