If you are craving some great Iraqi food, that's the place to go. Maybe it would best to reserve before hand because the restaurant can get very crowded. They have different varieties of vegetarian mixed platters which has kebbeh, foul, Pepper and cheese pastes, it was delicious especially with the freshly made bread. For main dish, they also have kebab, shish tawook, lamb chunks, lamb cutlets, which can be ordered in plates ranging from 1 or 2 pieces to giant plates that can serve a big family. In order to try everything, I got a plate for 2 persons just for myself which had a bit of everything. The meat and chicken were juicy and cooked to perfection and had this char flavor that I love. All the meals come with either rice or biryani, a side salad and lentil soup. I totally recommend to go with the Biryani as it was phenomenal. I wanted to also try their speciality, tashreeb, but there was no room in my stomach so I'm definitely coming back for that some time. They also have a wide range of baklava to seal the perfect meal. The location and the food are great, the selection is massive, the price is right. You can come here with a large party and get a massive meal, or come alone for a delicious fresh ingwer-minze tea. This is probably my favourite place in Kotti. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, good prices, good food. I used to go with friends to a turkish place nearby with a similar menu and seating capacity, but we got sick of being stared at by other customers, treated gruffly by the staff, and overcharged for mediocre food. Food: 4.5. Hard to do better. I went there three times. I highly recommend the lamb meat dish (not the one with lamb hard pieces, the one that looks like kebab but is lamb). This quality and tastiness of meat was incredible. A Turkish friend said it was decent and that he had already tested better but all of us, non Turkish/Kurdish people had our mind blown. A free soup is usually given, and a free Turkish flatbread (bazlama?) as well. A meal is filling ekough. I recommend to pay extra for biryani (rice but much more flavor thanks to spices).
