LION Burger & Steak — Restaurant in Berlin

Stoped by here for lunch with some co-workers as they had recommended it. Was a bit skeptical at first as it looks rather like a generic run of the mill burger place that you see along warschauer straße. The place was empty bar two other people - not the best sign for lunch rush hour, but I'm not going to complain about the lack of a waiting line.

The place doesn't do table orders (not really bothered about that)but they do do a lunch menu (burger fries drink). Prices are very reasonable and the "normal" burger is very generously sized (you can get a large one as well as adding an additional Patty if that's your thing). The service was super friendly and quick, and the burger was tasty (not the best I've had, but better than quite a few). The curly fries could have been a little bit crispier but otherwise they were fine.

Overall a decent burger place if you are looking for something quick to eat along...

I think I spent almost 5 mins hesitating what to order (because everything looks so good, to be honest), and they helped explaining the whole menu to me. So I decided on a fondue burger (it might look like a challenge to eat without getting messy, but it was 100% worth the mess) with lemonade (I went through almost the whole glass in a few mins) and onion rings (the version with actual ring & batter, not the finely-chopped & panko version--and tbh I think I might keep ordering their onion rings any time I go there), and every single thing was absolutely yummy. Will absolutely go back there to try all the other stuff as well (with the onion rings, of course).

(for reference, I ordered the Crispy Chicken Burger) the chicken was incredibly crispy, as well as a little spicy, which I loved. the bread was well cooked but not hard. the sauve was flavourful but didn't overpower the overall taste of the hamburger. you sit down first, read the menu, then walk up to the counter to order, which gives you a lot of time to choose calmly. they do allow for small variations (in my case, I chose to remove the onions and the pickles) which is great if you're endeared by a burger but one ingredient is setting you back. the place at first glance has "strong" decor, but walking inside the atmosphere is tranquil and really enjoyable, and looking closer the decor is actually quite simple but pleasant (i.e.: the brick wall, the...
