Lucky Katsu — Restaurant in Berlin

Very good Katsu chicken cafe. The dishes were made quickly and the chicken was hot and very tasty. The salad was good and rice cooked perfectly. A bit more sauce would be nice but otherwise an amazing meal. The price is also good. Portion size is big. Can see that place can get a bit hectic considering a lot of delivery orders and many people can come. Can notice that the waiters are a bit under pressure.

The chicken/place is Halal, certificate is hanging on outside window.

We ordered here for the first time, because of the good reviews and we were happy to find katsu in Berlin. Unfortunately the food we received was not what we expected. I had the curry, which literally was just a chickenschnitzel, that didn't even taste like Katsu, with the "Golden Curry" premade sauce, that you can get for like 2,50€ at any Asian supermarket. My gf had the udon noodles, which tasted like soy...

Ordered Katsu Udon and it was insanely good. The chicken had a very good crunch and the Udon Noodles were perfect. This week they had an event where they replaced the soup with japanese curry and it made the dish super tasty. On top of it, the staff was very friendly and very nice. And the restaurant also looked very fancy with a unique style. Definitely worth a visit when you...
