Maigold Bar is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. I stumbled upon this bar on a night out with friends and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is chic and sophisticated, with dim lighting and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. What really stood out to me though, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. The bartender Ejaa was very friendly and attentive.The only drawback is that it is bit expensive. For cola itself they charge 6 euros which is unimaginable. Speaking of the drinks, the cocktail menu is impressive! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and they made me feel right at home as I sipped my Old Monk cocktail and enjoyed the ambience. Maigold Bar is a must-visit for any cocktail enthusiast, and their Old Monk drink is an absolute standout. Overall, Maigold Bar is a great spot for a night out with friends or a date night. Very rude and unprofessional servers. Had to repeat our orders several times. We had a birthday cake (and they could have told us on the phone that they won’t deal with that) but instead they just brought the cake to the table with the box and gave it to the birthday girl. At least call someone from the table and have one of our friends bring it with the candles lit ffs. It’s what you do with birthday cakes. And this was a very empty monday night, so I’m not being dramatic over a cake on a very busy night. Even then, you can still simply call someone from the table and ask them to deal with it. The server said “this is the last round” at 1 AM, an hour before they close, not even asking if we want anything else. And no, we were not drunk. Literally the worst service ever. Super rude and cold staff where you questions and requests are taken as high maintenance. They literally “served” the birthday cake with the cake’s package!! No putting on a service plate , no candles were lit.. (we gave them the candles) when we asked why they served the cake like this they said “we never serve cakes” BUT THEN WHY DID YOU ACCEPT BIRTHDAY RESERVATION AND WHY DID YOU NOT TELL US IN ADVANCE WHEN WE GAVE YOU THE CAKE WHEN WE ARRIVED ?!?!
