Very nice local German restaurant with a very reasonable lunchtime menu.
We had the fish and vegetarian menu selection, and even with a bottle of Prosecco and dessert and coffee, it was still well below €30 per head.
The food was pretty good and a decent sized portion that would satisfy most appetites.
The lunch menu changes regularly, and the service is excellent.
Only one downside would be that they accept cash only, and in this day and age, I am always a little surprised when I find this in Berlin.

Gottlob has decided to play a legal game after 8 years and claiming a guest with my name was never present in the restaurant. So absurd and petty.
I sustain my view that the service was very slow and unpleasant, almost rude. I recommend to avoid.

Read moreReally cute local place for a coffee, nice-ish service but I shall avoid eating there. I tried 3 things on the menu (Waffles, Eggs, Greek Omelette) and it just tastes bland, bad and not good.
I wish the chef would take a little sabbatical to another restaurant for a couple of weeks and learn how to make fried eggs or an omelette.
