I went with my friend in order to watch a performance and attempt to try Ethiopian food. We ordered our food, asked for a wine recommendation that would match our plate then we proceed to order a bottle of wine, wine was pretty good. Tho, one hour went by, no sign of our plate, 90 min and we asked the owner what happened? She said two minutes, two minutes turned out to be almost another 30minutes. No apologies, no guys, we messed it up, thus we offer you some bread or snacks to distract your hunger. I can understand that people here in Germany has little to no sense of gastronomy, nor hospitality Iâm not asking nor pretending the treatment Iâd get elsewhere but, Iâd expect the minimum amount of respect and not to mention education if not for education it sake, at least that the client doesnât cancel the order and goes somewhere else. I understand that everyone makes mistakes, absolutely but the way people embrace them tells everything. Itâs perfectly understandable that someone forgot our order or so, but not showing up with an apology nor offering at least a snack or the possibility to order something else is out of any tolerance, I have to say. At the end they offer if we wanted a schnapps or a espresso due to the waiting, but itâs and it was already too late if I have money to pay for dinner what difference would s coffee or a schnapps make? Seriously, someone walks in to your business willing to spend over âŹ80 you messed it up and the response at the very end is can we offer you a ~âŹ3 compensation? Thatâs not the way⊠Food wasnât good, again Iâm aware Iâm in Germany not in Italy, Hungary, Spain or a place in which people has a functional tongue thus culinary taste, but quality was lacking, gigantic gap between quality and price, although wine selection was good. But...

Read moreWe stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around Berlin. The menus are all in German so we did a lot of guesswork when ordering, although the staff are very helpful. We got a French style pizza and a fish dish, a special for the evening. Both were outstanding dishes made with the highest quality ingredients. I couldn't recommend this place more highly. It is in a lovely area, has outdoor seating and is great...
