If you’re looking for the most authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine in Berlin, Guru is the place to be. Hands down, it was the best Indian food I’ve ever had.

The ambiance of the restaurant is warm, traditional, and incredibly inviting. From the moment I stepped in, I was transported to a little slice of India—everything from the decor to the soothing background music added to the authenticity of the experience.

I ordered the boneless paprika chicken, and it was simply incredible. The chicken was tender, perfectly cooked, and infused with the most vibrant and aromatic spices. The creamy, flavorful sauce had just the right balance of richness and heat. It paired beautifully with the naan and fragrant basmati rice. Every bite was a delight!

The staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. They clearly take pride in ensuring their guests have an unforgettable meal.

If you’re in Berlin and love Indian food—or even if you’re just curious to try it—Guru is an absolute must-visit. I can’t wait to go back and explore more...

I can only share my experience that I had ordering one Butter Chicken through Lieferando. I haven't been to the actual place. After reading reviews on the Butter Chicken I was so excited! But my expectations were negatively put down by the actual food. The sauce is the most important in the dish and it was just completely over salted. It was like they'd poured pure tomato sauce from the shop in it. The chicken was standard but the sauce was just awful honestly. I've never had a Butter Chicken this bad before. :( And the rice felt like really cheap and fast...

Lunch on a spontaneous visit in the Kiez. The place is located centrally and offers plenty sitting possibilities. The choice of dishes is good. Staff was alright, just bit stressed. We had to wait for some time to place our order and get it served. The food itself was nothing outstanding and bit tasteless. Expected more from this place. Prices are ok for the portion you get. In general, interesting place, but there are much better places with Indian Cuisine in Berlin, considering the same...

Great flavours, generous portions and reasonable rates. Their thalis or Rundreise durch Indien options are great to taste the best of the Indian flavours in one order. The curries are cooked very well, not too spicy or bland. The breads are all freshly made. If you're not sure about what to order, the staff are kind enough to suggest. The cocktails & mocktails are quite reasonable as well.
