Latodolce — Local services in Berlin

I ordered 7 desserts via Wolt in order to take them to a friend home visit. Unfortunately, all 7 desserts were poorly packed on top of each other in a poor quality box and as a result they arrived damaged. On top of that the box was dirty outside. As you understand, I couldn't take this to my friend.

From what I read in the reviews later, a lot of people have complained about similar reasons. I wish I had read them before.

Dear Latodolce, you cannot sell a product in such price and not have good customer service. Which means that you have to ensure that all products arrive in the quality that you show them on the pictures on your page in good packaging and if they don't, then you should take responsibility and compensate your clients.

I've tried several pastries from this shop (the mini desserts, pastiera, chiacchiere, Sicilian cannoli, canelés…) and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. All the pistachio-based creations are especially tasty! The shop itself is charming and welcoming, with a lovely display of the creations in the main window. The pastry chef is Italian, and you notice the quality of the ingredients. It's a unique place, also to buy nice gifts. I'll definitely be coming back...
