I tried a bunch of baklavas in a very short amount of time and gotta say I like it here the most. But I'm actually still clueless about how a perfet one is supposed to taste.
BUT! You know some spots drench it in syrup to kind of mask the freshness which in turn destroys the texture. Other spots are dry ish and even kinda crunchy. This spot holds the perfect balance in my opinion. Top is crispy, bottom is grainy and in between its moist.
They apparently also produce stuff for other bakeries and wholesale prices are pretty good. Ambiente is super stale but you can go in and have a great variety to pick from both fresh and packaged (which might as well be fresh too since they make it) to a discounter...
