This was a great dinner spot just down from the Quintin Boutique Hotel. I would recommend both.
Having been in Vietnam just a few months before being in Berlin, I was craving some Vietnamese food prepared by Vietnamese nationals. The staff were incredibly friendly. We had a language barrier as she only spoke Vietnamese and German and I only speak English and Russian 😂. But it was ok. I just repeated Pho and beer and it was fine. The pho was very good, though I wouldn't say it was incredible. Just very good.
[As pho goes, truly the best stuff is had our of the dodgy shops with cheap plastic chairs that might break and pho broth that has been added to and maintained for long periods of time. This is much more hygienic and sell-able to Western people haha. It's very tasty though and don't think you won't be getting an authentic product...it is!]
I also had dessert -- fried bananas with honey. The one recommendation I would make to the staff is to offer this with some drizzled chocolate too!
