This renowned food joint is celebrated for its flavorful and innovative take on the traditional kebap, offering a culinary experience that embodies the vibrant spirit of the city.
Pros:
Innovative Flavors: Mustafa's Gemüse Kebap showcases a unique fusion of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors, incorporating an abundance of fresh vegetables, aromatic spices, and succulent grilled meat, creating a harmonious explosion of taste that is both satisfying and memorable. Efficient Service: Despite the perpetual crowds, the efficient and friendly service ensures a streamlined ordering process, allowing patrons to enjoy their delectable kebaps without enduring excessive wait times. Value for Money: Considering the generous portion sizes and the quality of ingredients used, the pricing is reasonable, offering excellent value for money and making Mustafa's Gemüse Kebap an accessible culinary gem for both locals and tourists alike. Cons:
Crowded Space: Given its immense popularity, especially during peak hours, securing a spot in the queue can be a time-consuming endeavor. However, the vibrant energy and the anticipation of the flavorsome kebap make the wait well worth it. Limited Seating: The scarcity of seating arrangements might require patrons to enjoy their kebaps on the go or find alternative spots nearby. Nevertheless, the bustling ambiance of the surrounding area adds to the charm of the overall experience. For a truly satisfying meal, I highly recommend trying their signature Gemüse Kebap, layered with a delightful array of grilled vegetables and tender meat, all topped with their delectable signature sauce. Read moreSummary: disappointing Berlin icon with poorly seasoned overall Döner and mushy bread; unbearably long queue with extremely slow, but very friendly service; take-away; maybe they had a bad day?
Best dish: none
Dishes (- negative / = ok / + positive): chicken Döner with vegetables: the Döner meat was bland but ok quality, it wasn’t nice and crispy; the bread was very soggy and we tried to eat around it (see photo, sorry), we ate it right next to the stand so it’s also not because it was wrapped or anything; the overall flavor was badly balanced, almost only onions and meat; it was my wife’s second visit and the first time she said it was delicious, but this time she was very disappointed; maybe they changed the bread or the crew had a bad day, but I think there are a lot better Döner places in Berlin where they freshly prepare the bread with a nice crisp
Service: unbearably long queue with extremely slow, but very friendly service; we waited for 45 minutes and they only served about 20 people, so it’s not that it’s the popularity but much more the slow service making the queue
Price: = ok price but bad value
Atmosphere: = take-away, but the area is as many places in Berlin very dirty, so there is no nice possibility for Quickly sitting and snacking

Read moreTourists beware, this place is bad for almost any experience. The food is just ok, many other gemüse döner places around that are better.
I have been here three times. First time the line was maybe 25 minutes, which is long for what you get, and the food was good, but not special.
The second time it was 45 minutes, which is pushing patience to be honest, and they ran out of bread so we never got any food.
The third time, I only waited again because a friend wanted to try it... The third time was a 2!! Hour wait. That's insane. To make it worse, most of that time the employees were just being super super slow motion, taking breaks and so on, i think to make the line longer because and build hype. No bread or other ingredients were ever brought in.l, so they clearly hadn't run out. I hated watching this because when I got to about 10 people before ordering, they closed and moved the remaining meat off the grill and basically said sorry not sorry to everyone that was waiting for 2+hours.
Do not support this tourist trap restaurant and it's slow moving employees. Don't believe the hype, don't wait, get a same as here gemüse döner in many other places in just minutes. I'm very disappointed with the Mustafa crew for being this badly managed the two times in a row and closing with plenty of food still left after people had waited 2+hours. Never again will i try to bring...
