Very busy and authentic Neapolitan pizzeria.
Excellent and authentic Neapolitan style pizza. They have a original Neapolitan oven to make these pizzas, and they serve almost exclusively pizza. The pizza itself was very good and had very fresh and authentic ingredients. It had just the right amount of char, and the sauce was runny thus making the pizza soggy, these two qualities are very telling of its Neapolitan authenticity. 🤤😋
It felt like I was ordering this pizza somewhere in Napoli not in Berlin .
Unfortunately it is a very busy place due to deliveries and I may have caught them on a bad evening 😅. Thus because of that, they have forgotten my order, when asked about it after 60 mins of waiting they apologised and gave me a desserts for free. And I would honestly say the waiting time has paid off due to the quality of the pizza. But still, keep in mind to ask them about status of your pizza after around 30 minutes of waiting, especially if they are busy.
Would 100% recommend this pizzeria to anyone who enjoys classic...
Read moreI used to get pizzas here for take away quite often since I live around the corner and the venue is small, and I was quite happy about it.
However, last time, on a cold winter night they made me wait more than an hour since they were giving preference to all the Wolt & Co. orders. Even though it was just another woman and I waiting, they kept us waiting on and on, even though baking a pizza takes literally minutes.
I found it frustrating that they prioritize online orders that can order there today and in the opposite corner of the city tomorrow, over a loyal clientele of local neighbors.
Now I'm very happy that W Pizza Mitte opened in the area as well and although I have to walk a little bit more, I just get my pizza in minutes.
That night was indeed the last time I went to Nea even though I like their pizzas very much. Please don't call me back when Wolt & Co....
Read moreThe pizzas are absolutely delicious and the prices have stayed very reasonable given the huge price increases everywhere these days. We lived in Rome for some time and these pizzas could definitely hold their own against much of what we had there. Also, they came out super quick! Maybe 3 minutes. Staff were friendly and paid attention to details such as fixing a wobbly table, offering us a box for our leftovers without having to ask, etc. Lots of interesting craft and Italian beers available, and interesting specials (also non-pizza dishes). The outdoor tables set on the busy Chauseestr. maybe feel a bit too...
