Nguyen Kitchen — Restaurant in Berlin

This is a very popular restaurant for the locals. Vietnamese cuisine and sushi are offered, with the option to order halal chicken, which is probably a big reason why the restaurant is almost always busy.

I personally find the food very rich in salt and rather on the greasy side. I guess it helps to sell more drinks. Fresh ingredients are used, although ingredients such as pak choi, green beans, courgette and broccoli are substantially less in the dishes compared to bell peppers, carrots and onions.

Over the years the prices have increased on a regular basis, however the quality hasn't really improved. But if the locals seem to love it, then happy days for everyone. I personally would rather spend the same amount of money on better quality.

I had to wait 50 min since we ordered. For the cooking pho will take 50min...?? While waiting, we were looking at the other tables and we noticed that it looked like a orders from other customers who came after us were served first. So, I asked them two times that " How long more do I still have to wait for our order?" However they did not respond properly, just the waiter got cranky and never tried to check the kitchen. We had to just wait with no word of explanation. And also about payment, the price was wrong and I pointed out a mistake but they just said, " Thank you for telling me our menu price was wrong!". And they forced me to pay more than their menu's price when I ordered. It was strange. Well, I understand we all make mistakes. Most unfortunately, however, they don't care about the customer. I usually never leave reviews for anything but I went here for my birthday with my friends and we all absolutely loved it. The person who seemed to be one of the owners was so nice and friendly. The food (noodles with chicken and tempura rolls) were both insanely yummy, I could not believe it. I was so positively surprised and I‘m glad I chose this place for my birthday. The food (5 noodle servings and 2 sushi servings) came so quickly too that we didn’t have to wait at all. The portions were so filling and very very good for the price as well.
