Paracas — Restaurant in Berlin

We fancied getting a cocktail and this appeared to be the nearest to our hotel, we were immediately greeted by a cheerful waitress. While ordering the most delicious pina coladas, the waitress discovered we are Scottish and expressed how much she loves the Scottish accent, unfortunately we didn't get her name. So good was the service and cocktails that we arranged to go back the next night for dinner. This time we had a waiter, who although wasn't as good at speaking English, but still very friendly. Ich war zum ersten Mal für ein Geschäftsessen dort. Ich hatte schon von dem Restaurant gehört, aber mich bisher nicht getraut, es zu besuchen. Ich kann sagen, dass ich positiv überrascht wurde – neben spektakulären Gerichten sind die Portionen großzügig, sogar riesig. Das Essen war hervorragend gewürzt, und der Service war ausgezeichnet. Es hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich drei Tage hintereinander dort war. Besonders empfehle ich das Fisch-Ceviche und das Churrasco – einfach köstlich! Das Einzige ist, dass es am Wochenende sehr voll wird und die Wartezeit für Essen und Getränke ziemlich lang sein kann. Aber es lohnt sich definitiv, und ich empfehle es zu 100 %.

I went there for the first time for a business dinner. I had heard about the restaurant before but never dared to visit it. I must say I was positively surprised—not only were the dishes spectacular, but the portions were also generous, even huge. The seasoning and the service were wonderful. Wir haben viele Restaurants in Berlin, aber meiner Meinung nach ist das beste peruanische Restaurant Paracas, sei es I oder II. Das Essen ist authentisch peruanisch und auch das Mexikaner ist authentisch, ohne puristisch zu sein, aber den Originalrezepten viel treuer als andere Optionen in der Stadt. Wann immer ich nach Berlin komme, versuche ich, eines davon zu besuchen, wo neben dem Essen auch der Service hochwertig ist, in mehreren Sprachen und in einer Atmosphäre, in der Beleuchtung, Dekoration und Musik das Erlebnis noch angenehmer machen. Und ich muss es noch einmal wiederholen: Der Service ist hochwertig, denn die Leute, die hier arbeiten, wissen, was sie dem Publikum servieren, und sie wissen, welche guten Dinge sie auf ihrer Speisekarte haben. Die Cocktails sind wunderbar. Der Tequila Sunrise brachte mich zum Lächeln, aber der Hauscocktail, der Paracas Cocktail, brachte mich dazu, an einen anderen wunderbaren Ort zu gehen.

La comida es peruana auténtica y la mexicana también lo es sin ser puristas, pero mucho más fiel a las recetas originales que otras opciones de la ciudad. Siempre que vengo a Berlín trato de ir a cualquiera de los dos, donde además de la comida el servicio es de calidad, en varios idiomas y con un ambiente donde iluminación, decoración y música hacen que la experiencia sea aún más placentera. Y debo repetir: el servicio es de calidad, porque la gente que trabaja aquí sabe lo que está sirviendo al público y conoce lo bueno que tienen en su carta. los cocteles son una maravilla. el Tequila Sunrise me hizo sonreír, pero el cóctel de la casa el Cóctel Paracas me hizo ir a otro lugar...
