The motel is located right between two restaurants, and the metro station is literally just around the corner. However, the walls are very thin, so you can hear everything that's going on. My room was one of the furthest from the reception, yet I could still hear each and every guest saying hi to the receptionist. After 9 p.m., the reception is closed, and you need to get a key from a safe near the entrance to get inside. The room itself was quite cozy and relatively spatious. However, it was unfortunately quite dirty. There were stains on the walls, the curtains, and even on the table. The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly either. There was a ball of long hair in the toilet.. it was just kinda gross. Also, the lock on my door wasn't working properly, so it didn't feel completely safe, especially as I was traveling solo. If I really needed to, I would stay again, but it won't be my first choice by any means.

The room was a little small, and the bed was without a headrest. Price was economical, but the room could be improved with little more space. Room was also not noise proof as one can hear walking steps outside. But if you are a deep sleeper, it should not be a problem. Alone stay is good but with kids, I will choose a different place. Positives include: Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. Lastly, U-bahn station and bus stop were at walking distance.

Everything was just perfect Room was clean and I had everything needed for one person Stuff was super friendly and ready to help! I asked if I can leave my luggage and they ever checked me in earlier because my room was ready Wi-Fi works good, breakfast was typical for b&b hotels, like buffet with cheese, ham, vegetables, eggs, sweets, tougher etc The surroundings are safe and quite, quick metro access Highly recommended

I walked past the place twice before I figured out that the entrance is inside and on the first floor (second floor for American readers) of the apartment block that this motel is located in. You ring the door bell, the door is buzzed open, and you then need to go through two dark corridors, stand in front of a lift that doesn't work for a while, figure that the lift won't come and then go up a dark staircase - all led by nothing other than your intuition coz there are no signs, or even if there are signs it's too dark to read them - to get to reception. There, you will find a member of staff who is totally unapologetic for the lack of signage but friendly enough otherwise. They will give you your room key and watch you as you walk down the wrong corridor and come back again before pointing out that to get to your second floor (third floor for American readers) room you need to go back out into the apartment block and up the stairs (again, dark). Then you will get to your room and you'll marvel at how they managed to cram a bed, desk and bathroom into such a small space. You'll open the wardrobe to hang up your jacket but find that there are no hangers, and you'll go to the bathroom and find that you need to sit on the toilet sideways for the lack of any legroom. But other than all this, it's fine, clean, and, yes, cheap (for Berlin) and cheerful....

I made a reservation via booking.com with this hotel. something went wrong during the reservation and I ended up having two reservations: one for 5 nights and one for 3 nights which is the one I wanted. A few days before arrival, I received only one text message from the hotel giving me the number of my room and explanations on how to check-in. When I arrived on the first day of my reservation, I paid cash for the three nights. The person at the check-in desk didn't inform me then that I had 2 reservations and that I was a no-show for the night before. Nor did I received any e-mail or message regarding that other booking. When I left 3 days later, I realized that money had been charged to my card by the hotel. So I went back there and asked what it was all about. Only then did they tell me that I had two reservations. I asked them why they didn't inform me of that on my arrival. They didn't have an answer to give me and they categorically refused to reimburse me and said I should deal with booking. They were really rude as well. I strongly recommend not to book at this hotel because they obviously don't know the meaning of customer service. If I could put 0...

Are you new to Berlin? Do you want an affordable place to stay while you look for an apartment of your own? Then look no further than Motel Blue!! I stayed there for a month and a half and it was a great place to stay in! The room is small but clean, there is a fan if you run hot like myself, the bathroom is nice and the water is strong, the closet is big, the bed is comfortable and the sheets are clean, and the staff are super friendly and incredibly helpful. When you walk out of the building, you'll notice that there are restaurants and cafes all around you, there is a supermarket right across the street, the U Hohenzollern platz is on the left side across the street so you can go anywhere in berlin from there, the area is very close to Kurfurstendam, Zoologicher Garten and many other important locations. This place is the best place to be if you are new to Berlin.

Book your room now, I highly...
