Shakko Makko Kaffee&Frühstück&Mittagessen — Restaurant in Berlin

We ordered avocado bagel plus scrambled eggs (Rühreier) and hummus. The ingredients are fresh, especially the avocado and salad. The composition, portioning, dressing etc. are all on point and nicely balanced. Hummus was also a tasty addition. Overall the food was nice; it was a good option for breakfast/brunch/lunch.

Wife requested the eggs to specifically be cooked extra, because she was pregnant when we visited the shop, and it was done as requested. So service was 5/5 as well.

I love the cappuccino, as it was served in a bit above drink temperature. Exactly how I want my coffee served. And the small portion is kinda big compared to other small capps in other shops, which was also perfect to my taste. Also 5/5.

We didn't try the pancakes yet because we were full, but would love to come again to try. It looks good on the menu. 😋

I wanted to see whether there was a plug socket below the seat/table, but I forgot. The place was comfy if you want to bring laptop and sit for a few hours.

I was very excited to see this coffee shop opening close to me so I decided to try out their 6 EUR iced coffee on a very hot day.

Mind you I ordered a normal iced coffee, not the fancy caramel or vanilla. I was hoping it would be really good considering that 150M away you can get really good iced coffee for almost half the price. I was immediately underwhelmed. I was handed a warm coffee with 3 pieces of ice. But, when I mentioned it to the employee at the bar, I was told to just "stir it". :( After insisting, they took it back and handed me back the same, now watered down coffee served to the brim. I left the store having not touched my watered down, still warm, milk-coffee. Should have bought a 2 euro Starbucks iced coffee from the gas station in front.

I hope my harsh review is seen as an opportunity to improve rather than anything else.

Can't say anything about the food but it looked great.

100% recommend. food & homemade lemonade was exquisite and the service was absolutely impeccable. have never been happier to see a person taking my order but was absolutely in awe this morning. incredibly quick & polite, will definitely recommend this place to others. (& make my own returns even though it is over half an hour away). although the street might be more busy on non-sundays, the atmosphere is lovely and the ambience is absolute perfection. if anyone writes tour guides you should add this in!! perfect for being social or just taking a step back and reading...
