We stopped for late lunch when a thunderstorm blew up as we came out of Bauhaus. We had Tirokafteri (puriertem Feta, Knoblauch, Olivenöl und scharfen Gewürzen), Dolmadakia (gefüllte Weinblätter mit Reis und Tzatziki ) Griechische Bratwurst and Souvlaki (grilled pork). All marvellous. The Souvlaki was tender, juicy & flavorful, the sausage was pungent and robust, the fries were crisp, hot & not oily.The fresh Zaziki/Tzaziki was the right balance of sour yogurt, crunchy cucumber & cool dill. Read moreI have to admit, I was very disappointed by what is passing as authentic Greek here in Berlin. The meat was very dry and over cooked (like it had been sitting all day under a heating lamp). I also paid €5,50 for Tzatziki sauce and guys it was maybe 4 table spoons worth in a tiny plastic cup (see photo). And the fries needed to be salted and tossed back into my oven at home to make them a lot less soggy.
Delivery was fine, came on time, but truthfully will never order from here again. Maybe the meat doesn’t travel well when being delivered, but overall quite the disappointing Greek...
