Best Thai noodle soup in Germany, period! I’m a sucker for thai dry/soup noodle. Been in Thailand multiple times and have always hunted for thai noodle, especially tom yum noodle. This is the closest I can find to the best noodle places in Thailand. This even beats some places in Thailand! In Germany I’ve had thai noodles in big cities like Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, and Frankfurt. The closest one to this quality is in Hamburg, but Thai art is still much better. I can’t recommend it enough, really.
No. 1 on the menu is my second favorite, but my absolute favorite is the tom yum dry noodle (not on the menu, but ask for no.1 but in dry version). I love to add more chili flakes, a lot of the red chili pieces in vinegar, some extra fish sauce, and some extra sugar.
Not to mention their Cha Yen (Thai milk tea) is still the best I’ve had in my life together with Soi 22. I’ve tried a lot in Thailand, but Cha yen in Thai Art is still my favorite.

Read moreThis was one of my favorite Thai places when it was on Berliner Straße. My favorite dish is pad see ew and I was delighted Thai Art made them AND they tasted authentic, so I went there frequently. I always recommended Thai Art to my friends and on forums. HOWEVER, the last time my husband and I ate there we both had terrible food poisoning - from a vegetarian pad thai. It also tasted disgusting. It turns out that when making vegetarian or vegan versions they still use fish-based fish sauce and oyster sauces. This also happened to our vegan friends who I recommended go there, and they had to just throw the food out. So just a heads up to the vegetarians out there. I'm hoping they can source vegetarian fish sauce and oyster sauce and maybe we will try them again at their new location (although the husband is like never again do I want a toilet experience...
Read moreI was basically being homesick and really needed to taste some of that sweet, sour and spicy taste known only to thai kway teow tom yum. Saw on the thai Facebook group that this was the place to be to get some good authentic noodles. Wasn't disappointed, tasted just like the ร้านอาหารตามสั่ง/ก๋วยเตี๋ยว one could find back in Thailand. As a Thai, living in Europe I was surprised that a restaurant serving food tasting just like one back home existed!! It's real authentic thai food, no corns or yardlong beans in their pad krapow. The owner is from Ayutthaya, so the noodles are a must order, but everything else were also amazing. The thai tea were of the right amount of sweetness one would get when they order it in Thailand. It is not a vietnamese restaurant, I was really confused...
