Weinblatt — Restaurant in Berlin

For Italians and other Mediterranean people: here is nothing that is Mediterranean. Neither the food nor the warmness of the employees.

Unfortunately not what we were hoping for.On a Sunday noon, the restaurant was plenty and full of people.

From the very beginning the waitress was very unfriendly saying things like " don't you see it's full of people we are busy" when we were trying to order like normal customers. the food was not good at all, cold, from the shelf, and you clearly saw that food was warmed and rewarmed again.

Overall, poor quality, really rude and unfriendly staff. If you can't handle customers, don't open a gastronomic...

Actually everything is just amazing. Prices are also good, considering the time intensive work to prepare all the Mezes. There are also a huge selection of delicious vegan and vegetarian food 🌱 The reason I wanted to give 4 star instead of five, is the yaprak sarma (Filled Leaves), that were not self-made. I missed a good home made sarma a lot, and was expecting something better from a place called “Weinblatt”. I can understand it is difficult to make, especially from the business perspective. But I want to give 5 stars anyways to this amazing women run turkish restaurant, and wish to eat their home made...

The food is great here. We got a Weinblatt platter, which comes with an amazing selection of proper Middle East vibes. 3 of 4 of the staff were great and helpful, but one was not liking us not speaking german, I asked for a glass of water but she said you got to buy a bottle. When I asked if I could pay with the card, she said no and turned around, until the other came and said, "No worries pay later, sit down, we wil bring you the food." Anyway, stir away from the grumpy one, and you will have a great lunch. Also, the birds are waiting for you, and we are nice and throw...
