Tangs Kantine — Restaurant in Berlin

Had imagined it’s a good authentic Chinese place. Maybe it is, if we go back and try some more selections. But overall, it was pretty underwhelming.

Seating outdoors is possible and we got the wok tips (fried dumplings) and the Shanghai Ente and Ente im Glück. Neither of them are that great, the dumplings were fine, nothing spectacular.

Really beautiful area and setting, great to people watch and big shady trees outside and nicely decorated inside. The dumplings were some of the best I’ve ever had and everyone’s mains- noodle based were pretty good, but next time would pick something like a special. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the food, we had a variety of dishes, anything from duck, to fish and the noodle soup and some starters. Nothing tasted especially good, the wait was long, the service was ok. We were expecting a lot more, especially for the price.
