I was at the café in Diefenbachstr. on Sunday at 10:30 with a friend to drink a coffee. We waited at the front door to be seated. The bar man gestured us to go inside and sit down. Then the waitress came and told us our table is reserved for 11:15 but that the table at the window is available until 11:30. We told her that one hour should be fine for us since we only wanted to drink a coffee. At 10:55 she comes to us again telling us that there was a mistake and the table is reserved for 11:15 and that they need 5 mins to clean the table. At 11:00 then the owner of the restaurant came to us very stressed and told us in a very rude manner that we have to get up now because the people showed up for their table early. At that time nobody apologised for the inconvenience or for the mistake they did in communicating us the wrong times several times. By then I finished my Matcha Latte only half. We were told to leave the table immediately and that they usually dont allow people in for a coffee. It was entirely the fault of the cafe to let us in, give us a table and then tell us to leave 30 mins earlier than initially communicated, not even apologising or giving me the matcha for free for the inconveniencve. Finally, people were only placed there 10 mins after throwing us out. That is the reason for the bad rating. I am a customer here since the cafe opened in Lausitzer str. coming there a lot. I am quite...

I was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience

• Spinach with Yogurt: Fresh and flavorful, a great start to the meal. • Stuffed Grape Leaves: Absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned, and simply outstanding. • Shepherd’s Salad: One of the best I’ve ever had, incredibly fresh and full of flavor. • Kibbeh (Stuffed Meatballs): Exceptional, as always! A must-try. • Lamb Chops: Cooked to perfection with a tender texture and rich flavor. If I had to pick a favorite dish, this would be it. • Lamb Shank: Accompanied by a flavorful pilaf, the lamb was beautifully cooked and melt-in-your-mouth tender.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. A few things to note: they do not serve alcohol, and the portion sizes are a bit small, so I suggest sharing dishes if you’re dining with others. Additionally, the service was a bit slow, but nothing that detracted too much from the experience.

It happened to be my birthday when I visited, and the staff made a sweet gesture by placing a candle on my dessert and celebrating with me. It was a lovely touch that added to the...

What a beautiful gem in one of the most magical streets I've walked in in Berlin. At the restaurant, everyone was dressed so nicely (what we call 'tyab el eid' i.e. dressed for a holy occasion') and enjoying the a la carte selection or the Ramadan specials menu. The energy felt very welcoming, as if we were all somehow dining together (having iftar together).

We ordered the Muhammara & Pastrami Burek to share. For my main dish, I savoured every bite of my Kuzu Incik Kabab, a lamb shank still on the bone, braised for 4 hours and so perfectly cooked it melts in your mouth. It was complemented by Kabzeh spiced rice. I personally would have preferred it a 'tad' less salty but that's a personal preference of mine.

We also tried the Manti as well as the cauliflower dish which I found to be not as exquisite as the lamb but still quite fresh and a good option for vegetarians.

The staff was excellent! Professional, attentive and friendly. This place is built with mad love...

Warm restaurant to try out Anatolian tapas - fresh perspective of the cuisine! One of my personal favorites in Berlin. Atmosphere: The dining area has an elegant style with stunning ornamented plates. Food: As it's a tapas place, you need to order at least 3 dishes per person. In the end, it's a very cool concept as you try and share various positions from the menu. So don't be upset if the position's size could seem to be somewhat small. I guarantee that a variety of food textures and combinations will impress you. We've tried Kibbeh, Hummus, Eggplant Rolls, Sarma, Roasted cauliflower, and a dish with delicious meat and eggplant(I can't recall its name) - everything was delightful and flavorsome. Drinks: it's a non-alcoholic place; please be aware of it. However, you can order 0% alcohol cocktails if you'd like to. Service: The staff is cheerful and helpful with menu explanations and overall service. They also speak English and German.
