Wie zuhause in Italien — Restaurant in Berlin

This place was recommended to me but I can't really confirm it.

The pizza is okayish / decent, but definitely nothing special or exceptionally good how I expect it to be from a place with the name "Wie zuhause in Italien". Maybe it comes from the fact that these people are not italians. When I was there they were speaking albanian if I understood it correctly.

Anyways, the pizza is alright, the ambient looks cozy and with a nice interior design.

Lastly, the service was really bad. I didn't feel welcome at all. The waiter wasn't friendly, instead gave me the feeling that everything I asked for was a burden to him and the entire restaurant.

I can not recommend this place and I don't intent to come back. Maybe pick up a pizza if you are hungry and randomly in the neighborhood but don't expect great service or an exceptional...

One of my favorite Italian places to order from in Berlin. The quality of food is always good. The menu isn’t huge but all of the pizza and pasta dishes I’ve tried were delicious. I particularly recommend trying their spaghetti bolognese. Delivery is generally fine and on time. Once they forgot my bruschetta, so I called and they brought it very quickly and apologized. The reason for the 1 star reduction is the extra cost of Parmesan, as well as garlic and chili sauces which are €1 each. This extra charge wouldn’t be a problem if it wasn’t for the tiny amounts - literally the smallest portions of Parmesan or sauces I have ever seen in my life. Wow! Truly enjoyed our dinner here. We went not expecting all too much except a relaxed night with pasta and pizza. However we ended up having a very good seafood appetizer, delicious Italian red wine and fresh bread to get things started. Then the Margherita pizza was absolutely perfect and even came in a heart shape ❤️ lovely! We ordered two pasta dishes, a linguine carbonara and one with black noodles and mussels that was a bit spicy, yet very delightful.
