Incredible bar and a very welcomed, much-needed addition to the kiez! I first came to Palabra Bar for their noteworthy selections of mezcals, as it can be hard to find more than a few lower-end offerings in the bars of Berlin. To my relief the list here was amazing, featuring even some good raicillas and more interesting flavor profile mezcals. Haven't seen a selection this expansive outside of Jalisco and Nayarit. The kind owner mentioned that they rotate in new offerings frequently as well so I'll definitely be coming back to try more.

What I wasn't aware of before going that made things even better was that they have some great natural wines and solid cocktails as well. And the cherry on top for me—they feature really versatile music offerings each week! From what I saw they had a cumbia night, some disco and house, and even a live free-jazz concert. Friends and I agreed that this fills a gap in Friedrichshain for when you want to see/hear some music and be social but not go to a big club or queue up for ages. This will definitely be a new regular...

Fantastic new (cocktail) bar in Berlin, specialized in Mezcals & Tequilas. The owner, Alonso, is from Mexico and super passionately shares his love for the Mexican good quality agave spirits. The vibes are amazing, with a friendly and allround hard working team. It was a pleasure being served by Amber. The cocktails were great, simple classics with good quality ingredients, which have been either tequila or mezcal based. Always nice to drink palomas, but I loved the mezcal tasters for sipping a lot as well and the (offmenu-) cocktails I drank were amazing too. ¡Hasta Luego!, because I will for sure return to this bar as a mezcal lover and passionate hospitality...

An evening at Palabra bar fills you with warmth, even on a frosty January night. The space is the epitome of relaxed good taste and unpretentious charm, all while being effortlessly cool. The drinks are a delight: high quality ingredients tenderly put together by friendly and knowledgeable bar staff. The music is irresistibly joyful, making it hard to resist a little dance…all in all, it’s a real gem.
