Ziko's Grill — Restaurant in Berlin

We visited Ziko as part of a Gate1 escorted visit and what a fun night it was with our fellow members tour and various other patrons dancing between the tables and a singing, happy crowd...

I'm not sure if Ziko offers the very same menu we had as a group (with LIMITLESS "as much as you wish" wine , beer, gin, etc.,  - see menu photo) but I can say the food was great.  My wife and I had the excellent mixed grill (yum!) but the pork knuckel looked great!   Right down to the desert, we didn't hear any complaints about the food.

Reasonably good German food with good service. The deer roast and schnitzel were very good - the cordon bleu was OK and the salmon was not good at all and very small. The other portions were reasonably sized and priced. It wasn’t very busy on a Friday evening so was wondering what audience they cater to. Wine served was also OK. Did not have any dessert as it did not seem so interesting.

If food hell existed, this would be the place. What can I say? Another school trip, kilometers of walk, you dream of a good meal..... and then the tomato soup and "vitamini" (the salad with black dressing) arrived.
