Restaurant Burg Landshut — Restaurant in Bernkastel-Kues

Decent food, amazing view, servers on the slower side but food came out quickly once ordered.

Not the easiest to navigate to though. Google Maps only takes you partway there and after that you need to follow the small signs. Park in the cobblestone parking lot and walk down the steep cobblestone path to the burg/restaurant. There are 4-5 parking spots near it, if you want to try. The restaurant/Burg could make it so much easier for visitors if they gave similar parking instructions on their website. We prebooked and it all started with a confusion of reservation or not, but was solved and we could order. We didn't speak german, however tried to ensure that we didnt want part of the food due to allergic and from that point everything went wrong, tried to work with Google translate but they couldnt read. 3 time it was correct and ended up with an ok, nothing special about the food. Ordered schnitzel and apple strudel. Dessert came first and young waiter said yes this was first which made me look up if this was customary 🤣 it isnt. Schnitzel was average. Lady waitress apologised when I asked and i checked if my main was ordered. Large plate , unfortunately schnitzel was over cooked, tasted slightly burnt.
