I went to Mayra's for the first time in 2019. I returned 2 years later to find everything there is still as amazingly delicious as before! They have a selection of homemade cakes that changes daily and a Milchkaffee (milk coffee) to die for! It's served in a bowl (no joke) and is definitely a must try for anyone who, like myself, wishes their coffee would last longer. 😅 The staff are friendly and the atmosphere inside is very homey and cozy. It's a very family-friendly place too. The top floor has a room with toys for kids to play with. Unfortunately, this was closed the last time I went due to the pandemic. I look forward to the next time I get the chance to visit Mayra's. My drink suggestions are the Milchkaffee and the galão (Portuguese coffee drink). Food was beautiful and delicious. I had the smoked salmon toast with poached egg and escarole, which was a well composed and filling breakfast. I was hungry enough to also get the French toast with fresh fruit and Nutella cream, which was hearty and sweet. Latte with Hazelnut sauce was tasty and visually appealing.
Great service, the waitresses were patient with tourists and willing to explain the German menu (the names of most dishes were in English, but descriptions in German).
Highly recommended for a artful breakfast at a...
