Hotel Motel One Bonn-Beethoven — Hotel in Bonn

After a long day driving,me and my boyfriend decided to live in this hotel, we asked for a parking spot and the staff told us there was still have a spot, but when we drove to their parking garage after two minutes, it was already full. The staff directed us to another parking garage, and we have no idea there was an extra charge for parking. During the check in, we only be told there’s an extra fee for breakfast. After ceaselessly come and go, we back to ask the staff, he was really unhelpful and impolite, due to the bad experience of the service, I required a refund for the room because we don’t feel comfortable to stay. The staff refused to refund the money and told us we never ask if the parking was free because he never mentioned so we assumed it should be included. A beautiful setting inside. I loved the colour scheme. We only stayed one night but I developed a horrible allergic reaction. I know that it was the room as I had a nap after our long travel to get to Bonn. I fell asleep on all 3 pillows (incl the turquoise one) and when I awoke, my eyelids felt heavy and when I looked in the mirror, they were swollen. Rushed off to the pharmacy to get antihistamine. It helped tp reduce the swelling. In the early hours in the morning, I awoke to find my eyelids in a worse state, my cheekbones were swollen and my chest was red. I think it could be the curtains and headboard that triggered off my allergic reaction. We spoke to the man when we check-out and all he said was that it was strange as their items are "hypoallergenic". Not sure how often curtains and headboards are cleaned as the fabric used is very different...

I booked this hotel to attend a performance at the opera house, which is very close to it.|The hotel is located between the city centre and the Rhine (not far from Kennedy Bridge).|The hotel can be reached by a 10-15 minutes ' walk or a short tram ride from the railway station. There is also a car park.|The room, on the 7th floor, was cozy, but very functional and clean.
