The Kennedy bridge is the most important bridge in Bonn. It connects the main city of Bonn to the main city of Beuel. It's a normal sized bridge, never really a traffic jam. It also takes trams across. It's not a particularly beautiful bridge but not ugly either. Well this is just a bridge and you might think what is interesting about that. But I liked the idea that they used solar panels to produce electricity. I have also seen a machine that counts how many bicycles has crossed the bridge. How cool is that. One more thing is the nice view of the river and Bonn while crossing...

Für Touristen bietet die Brücke einen tollen Blick auf Rhein und Stadt bis zum Siebengebirge. Sie ist Teil der Bonn-üblichen Joggingrunden. Auf der Bonner Seite gibt eine Zählstelle für die vielen Radfahrer. Solarpanele auf der Südseite symbolisieren, dass zumindest im Jahr 2000 schon ein bisschen was zum Thema Klimaschutz in der Stadtverwaltung bekannt war.
