We arrived in Bremen on a quiet Sunday afternoon, looking for a place that could offer both variety and a gluten-free option. A harder task than it sounds in a sleepy harbor town. After wandering along the water, we stumbled upon this modest hidden spot, tucked away like a secret only locals should know. From the moment we stepped in, Pham, the host, welcomed us with a gentle smile. She was kind, present, and quietly attentive, the kind of person who doesn’t need to speak much to make you feel taken care of. The restaurant itself was spotless, cool with air conditioning, and had an easy calm about it. No noise, no rush. Just stillness and good energy. I ordered the udon soup with wonton, chicken, and shrimp. The broth came through first, light yet full, carrying the flavor of the chicken like a whisper that lingers. The shrimp were tender, cooked just right. The vegetables had that crisp edge that only comes from fresh prep, and the cilantro and green onion added a sharp brightness (measured, never overdone). The Wonton were light brown crisp and addictive. There’s honesty in food like this. It’s not trying to impress you. It just is what it is: clean, grounded, and made with intention. The prices were more than fair, which made the whole experience feel even more generous. If you ever find yourself in Bremen, craving something warm, balanced, and quietly memorable. This place is worth the detour.

Very delicious Asian cuisine. I have ordered a soup from chicken and rise with vegetables and thai curry sauce.

Auf Englisch sagt man: Never judge a book by its cover.
