Very polite server, in his late 50s, early 60s who had a calm way about him and the service he provided. He had grace, respect and a smile about everything he did - from taking your order, prepping the food, delivering it (regardless if its a take away or a dine in). As if you are a dear friend who's a guest at his home and he enjoys cooking his food for you. Making sure not to touch money and food with the same hands, always washing hands after a smoke break (and especially after a sneeze) and no rush. Even though at one point there were a lot of hungry patrons, he would not rush frantically, but only increase the tempo and never lose his smile in the process. We had the most amazing evening meal at this cafe while on a short visit to Cologne. The choice of vegetarian dishes was very impressive and the small cafe has a relaxed, casual vibe.
