Bhasin Indian Cuisine
Upon entering Bhasin Indian Cuisine, we were greeted by a menu brimming with the authentic flavors of India. The culinary journey began with a classic yellow daal, its comforting simplicity setting the stage for the rich tapestry of tastes to follow. The paneer masala was a revelation, with its creamy tomato base enrobing tender cubes of paneer in a warm, spiced embrace. Equally impressive was the chana masala, where the robustness of chickpeas met a piquant blend of spices, creating a harmonious balance on the palate.
Accompanying these delights were the tandoori kulcha and garlic naan, each a masterpiece of the tandoor's art. The kulcha, with its fluffy interior and charred exterior, provided a delightful contrast, while the garlic naan was a fragrant testament to the power of simplicity when executed to perfection.
The mango lassi stood out, not just as a beverage, but as a smooth, creamy elixir that captured the essence of ripe mangoes in a glass. It was the perfect foil to the rich dishes, its cool sweetness offering a refreshing counterpoint.
Adding to the experience were the complimentary offerings of crisp onions, a zesty green chilli chutney, and a tangy pickle, each enhancing the meal with their unique textures and flavors.
Above all, the hospitality extended by Karan, our host, was the jewel in the crown of Bhasin Indian Cuisine. His attentive service and genuine warmth ensured that our dining experience was not just a meal, but a cherished memory.
In summary, Bhasin Indian Cuisine is a gastronomic gem where every dish is a celebration of traditional Indian cooking, and every guest is treated with the utmost care. A visit here promises not just a meal, but an exquisite foray into the heart of Indian...

The menu has a lot to offer. I especially enjoyed the Lamb Biryani, which was full of flavor, and the Shahi Paneer and Chicken Biryani were also quite good. However, the samosas didn’t quite meet my expectations—they were a bit bland. The lamb curry was fine but didn’t stand out as much as the biryanis.
One thing to note is that the rice portions that come with the dishes are on the smaller side. We had to ask for chutney with the samosas, and while there was an extra charge, it would have been nice to know that in advance.
Overall, it’s a nice place to visit, with some dishes that are definitely...
Read moreWhere do I begin. First of all, the atmosphere is lovely and it was a pleasure to eat in the restaurant. The serving staff and kitchen staff allowed my partner and I to have a wonderful experience. The food was terrific and the quality of the food was out of this world. Also, the Indian cuisine is truly the best in Cologne and very affordable for everyone. Regarding the traditional Indian bread "Naan" I can you recommend it to all guests and a secret tip from me is to order the "garlic Naan", it will blow your mind away. Adding to this point, the bread served in this restaurant is from the traditional Indian tandoori oven which enhances the authenticity of the Indian food that you will consume.
