The Asada Quesadillas were some of the best things I've ever eaten. A burst of flavor as soon as you take your first bite. My tacos were somewhat lackluster. I ordered Mole Poblano chicken for the tacos and it wasnt as hot as the menu suggested it was. Was disappointed on that. The tacos are also kinda small. You get four of them, but it looks more like an appetizer than an actual meal. The nachos Tres Quesos were pretty good, but the cheese was so strong that it was hard to eat with your hands. The chips would break and turn soggy underneath. Doesnt mean they tasted bad or anything, but using a fork for nachos kinda defeats the purpose. Lol. The theme of the restaurant is good. The inside is well decorated and the restaurant was bigger than I expected it to be. Even with its size, the restaurant was hard to walk through. It was loud inside as well. Mindless chatter throughout the restaurant makes you have to almost yell to your partner to get them to hear you across the table. It was on a Friday as well. Make sure to reserve a table if you're going anytime past 7pm. You'll be waiting a while if you dont. The staff were nice and seemed to speak Spanish, English, and German. You can take your food To-Go with you which is also nice. The food was a little pricey for only getting Tacos or only getting Quesadillas. Wouldn't be so bad if they added rice as a side dish complimentary to the meal included in the price. To be honest, I would go here again just because the Quesadillas were amazing. I will leave it as five stars because it is worth...
Read moreWow, where should I start. First of all, I’m really happy I found this place. I have lived for some years in Los Angeles and we had a sweet Mexican lady cook for us in the house everyday and ever since then the latin american cuisine became my favorite cuisine! I have tried Mexican restaurants all over NRW, Germany and some other European countries but I was let down pretty much every time as it simply was not authentic Mexican food but rather texmex…today me and my wife stumbled across Casita Mexicana and I ordered a wide variety of tacos, quesadillas, salsas and a cerveza..And man, I finally found my go to Mexican place! I couldn’t be happier!! Just by the smell of the tortillas I knew I was in for a treat. The seasoning, the flavors, the freshness of ingredients…simply perfect. Heads up to the chef and the staff. We’ll be...
Read moreThis place used to be great, but it has changed a lot. When it’s full, it gets extremely loud and uncomfortably warm. There are a few fans around, but they’re covered in dust — clearly haven’t been cleaned in years!!
The food is just okay. The meat was dry and lacked flavor, although the guacamole was fresh and delish!
Prices are too high for what you get. Dishes used to be well presented, salad aside or nicely decorated but now they look rushed and uninspired.
Margaritas are mostly ice — you pay nearly €10 for a very small glass that’s filled more with cubes than actual drink.
The staff isn’t the most attentive or friendly. Instead of a warm “Hello, welcome!”, you’re immediately hit with a blunt “What can I get you?”
Overall, it’s disappointing to see how much the quality...
