Damaskus Haus — Restaurant in Cologne

Positives: -food is very delicious -the place is clean and neat -prices are just right -nice and speedy service.

Negatives: -place is a bit narrow, and looks small from out, but there is a pretty nice dining hall inside there. -the Menü is just in German!, there is no English or Arabic in it, and it's very weird translation from Syrian Arabic. and hard to read for me as an Arabic speaker, I mean why not in Arabic too!.

It's obviously recommended, try the hack out these Syrian delicious dishes and enjoy...

Food and service was very bad. We’re originally from Syria, came to visit Köln and was excited to eat authentic Syrian food, but we were dissatisfied. Our order served one at a time. Our server never even bothered to come and give us updates on our order. The Damascus plate was dry. It taste like citric acid was used in their salads. My office is nearby so I used to eat at least once a week. Good for fast food, but the quality is getting degraded. Sometimes its good, sometimes its not. So it shows staff neglects the quality of food if the place is rushed. Could be improved better. They dont even check if the meat is cooked or not when so many oders are in queue. So simply they just lost me...
