This was the best of the bunch. We accidentally timed our visit with the FC Köln Vs Nantes pre-season friendly, and I'd dressed head to toe in black, unknowingly blending in with the Nantes fans. We sauntered in, and you could tell it was perhaps not what the staff were expecting. French lads shouting orders at the bar, ordering food then wandering off, all speaking over each other. Standard football crowd. I thought the staff did an unbelievable job in keeping it calm and moving, especially as the increase in frequency of pints being sank correlated to a decrease in patience of any slight delay to being served said pint. I nursed mine on a quiet table, watching to see as and when we should probably make a swift exit - a lad came in swigging a gigantic plastic bottle of what I presume was creme de menthe. I took it as my time to leave, walking past the police in riot gear suiting up around the corner. Good pub, good...

It would have been a 5-star rating, but your bartender (the tall guy with tattoos) decided that he wouldn't serve us before he serves a guy that cut in line, because apparently "he makes the rules and he decides who to serve." This happened after I repeatedly told a guy who was trying to cut in line, to go to the end of the line. The guy came after us to the bar and was waiting on the wrong side of the bar (for the staff). Instead of addressing this, the bartender chose to ignore it and instead told us, in a very primitive way, that he decides who is going to be served. This behavior very much speaks to his manners, or rather, the lack of them. What a shame for such...

You could write a book just about my nights at this pub, because every time I’m there - magic is happening. What causes this crazy nights there is easy to explain: 33% guests & their singing, 33% the outstanding staff and location, 34% the crazy good looking 6streetboys t-shirts. Last night we sang country roads. Everyone listened, enjoyed and partied with us. GOOSEBUMPS! Afterwards so many people thanked us for the show and literally every one of them asked where to get those sexy shirts. It’s easy: 6streetboys!
