Haptilu — Restaurant in Cologne

Charming little cafe perfect for a cozy breakfast. The food and coffee was great and exactly what we were looking for, simple and good and a nice quiet place to sit and talk before starting our busy day in the city.

Lovely, small lunch spot. Make sure to reserve in advance, otherwise the small number of tables makes the life of spontaneous people tough. Small variety of traditional dishes, daily differing meal of the day. Super fun and warm service with a joke on the side and in our case an espresso...

Wir waren zu viert zum Gänseessen hier und hatten einen Tisch reserviert. Das Essen war ausnahmslos lecker. Die Gänsekeulen und Gänsebrust waren zart und saftig und ließen sich ganz leicht vom Knochen lösen. Die Knödel hatten als Überraschung einen Marzipankern, der sehr gut zum gesamten Gericht passte. Auch beim Rotkohl schmeckte man, dass es mit viel Liebe zubereitet war. Und die Soße mit dem Maronen rundete das ganze Essen wirklich sehr gut ab.

Als Nachtisch hatten wir einen übergroßen Dominostein und eine Schoko-Espresso-Tarte. Auch der Nachtisch ließ keine Wünsche offen.

Ebenso der Rotwein, ein wunderbarer vollmundiger, aber nicht zu kräftiger Cuvée aus drei Rebsorten aus Österreich, der sehr gut zu dem wunderbaren Essen passte.
