HELLERS Volksgarten — Restaurant in Cologne

Extremely disappointing experience at Hellers. We waited for over 30 minutes just to place our order, and even then, our server seemed disorganized and forgetful. The real kicker was that our food never arrived. We waited for over an hour, asked multiple times for updates, and were eventually told that our order had been 'forgotten.' Unbelievable.

The lack of communication, slow service, and failure to deliver on their promise of food made for a frustrating and hungry evening. Unless they revamp their service and kitchen processes, I'd advise others to...

Beautiful location but unfortunately not a nice place to stay - orders have to be made at a counter, separate lines for food and drinks so that it might take very long, unfriendly impolite staff, no card payments... all in all seems like the team doesn't feel like making an effort towards providing decent service as the nice location already attracts enough people... despite the amazing location in one of the city's prettiest parks I'd therefore recommend visiting a different...

Erst mal das positive:Das Ambiente ist typisch Biergarten und die Lage ist natürlich toll, Da kann man nicht meckern. Personal war Freundlich.

Da es das bereits war mit dem positiven, jetzt die Dinge, die ich nicht so gut fand:

Die Speisen kann man nur über einen QR-Code auslesen, Bestellen kann man jedoch nicht digital oder am Tisch, Sondern muss nach vorne zur Theke gehen und seine Bestellung aufgeben. Merkwürdig.

Die Preise sind sehr hoch. Ein Glas Wein zum Preis von einer Flasche finde ich für so ein Etablissement zu teuer. Currywurst Pommes für elf Euro brutal.

Ich hatte das Schnitzel Mit „WaldPilzsoße“

Die Pommes waren kalt, das Schnitzel war enttäuschend klein, die Sauce schmeckte nach Eimer Und Waldpilze waren nicht zu finden. Es handelte sich um handelsübliche ZuchtChampignons. Das ist nicht, was man erwartet, wenn man eine WaldPilzsoße bestellt. Einzig der Salat war ganz gut Und ist nicht mehr wie von anderen Gästen bemängelt der Krautsalat aus dem Eimer.

20 € kostet dieses Schnitzel.

Auf Nachfrage meiner Partnerin, ob sie noch Mayo zu ihren Pommes haben kann Wurde sie freundlich darauf hingewiesen Dass sie dafür auch wie beim bestellen an die Theke gehen muss und diese dort kaufen gehen muss… Das hat mit Service nichts zu tun.

Für uns war das der erste und letzte Besuch, Aber ich denke auch nicht, dass man hier auf Stammkundschaft abzielt, sondern eher auf Tourismus. Einmal Abgreifen und auf Wiedersehen....
