RHEIN STREET COFFEE — Restaurant in Cologne

update mid 2025: the place reminds me at the last days of the gdr and the word "mangelwirtschaft". nothing works there anymore for a couple of months now. always is something missing. food in general, juice, ice, matcha, fruits, soy, milk. even coffee was out one time, not so long ago. which is shitty for a café. another thing are the opening hours. they are not reliable anymore. the place is at least closed once per month out of schedule. but alone this week it was closed 2 times. and after a talk with he employees there it's not a problem that the place itself wouldn't work. more that the management doesn't care about that place anymore, which ends up in this mismanagement.

update 2025: would be create if the cafe is actually open at the times it proclaimed. the last 2 weeks alone it was closed in the morning when it should be open 😕.

original: im not a big fan of the cafe roast there. at least my stomach isnt. also the food option are ok for a cafe. i would honestly be happy for some protein-rich options now that a gym opened more or less next to it 😁

but what i really like is the service. most of the faces behind the desk are very friendly. regardless what type of saurpuss-face they have...

Very nice place: tasty coffee, attractive interior design, friendly baristas. And the beverages menu is very comprehensive with many special options available (in addition to standard espresso, latte, etc.). Will definitely come back to try...

Mitarbeiter nett und bemüht aber komplett überfordert mit der Anzahl an Bestellungen vor Ort und von Ubers Eat daher für einfaches Käsesandwich und Schokoladenfrappuchino fast ne Stunde Wartezeit. Das "Burratakäsesandwich" war für den Preis absolut unterdurchschnittlich. Brot war trocken, der Burrata kein richtiger Burrata und der Rucolasalat war lieblos daneben hingeknallt. Auch der Schokoladenfrappuchino war für den Preis entäuschend. Sauberkeit von dem Lokal ließ auch zu wünschen übrig. Schade. Hat von außen eigentlich einen guten...
