Las Tapas in Düsseldorf is an enchanting Spanish restaurant that captures the essence of Spanish cuisine. The warm ambiance and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere. The tapas are a revelation, bursting with flavors and textures. The pulpo a la gallega, with tender octopus, olive oil, and smoky paprika, is amazing!! The authenticity of the dishes is undeniable, with the chef’s dedication evident in every bite. The service is exceptional, with knowledgeable staff and perfect wine pairings, sangria blanca was perfect! Don’t miss the pimentos del padron, shrimps, chorizo and scallops! Las Tapas is a must-visit for a taste of Spain in Düsseldorf!

The restaurant has a very nice fashion. Makes a good Look and feeling, also being in this connection road makes it more chilled. I had an Appetizer like art of the house and afterwards lamb filet. The Appetizer was quite good and fresh, also made a good impression. In fact a combination from a some of Tapas, not like a special plate. The lamb was to long roasted and sadly too dry. Overall quality seems to be fine, pricing for those exclusive products okay, but the dry lamb and for my personal Point of View missing Concept of Appetizer art of the house, I just wanna give 3 stars.

28/03/23 8:15am The server was very nice! The food was okay. I did not like the sauce they had on the Patatas Picantes. The Alioli was very good, especially with the Serrano Ham on the bread. 🇩🇪Geröstetes Tomatenbrot 🇬🇧Roasted Tomatoe Bread 4,50€ 🇩🇪Portion Serrano-Schinken 🇬🇧Spanish Serrano Ham 8,90€ 🇩🇪Portion Alioli 🇬🇧Portion Alioli 3,50€ 🇩🇪Gegrillte Paprikaschoten 🇬🇧Grilled Peppers 5,90€ 🇩🇪Pikante Kartoffelscheiben 🇬🇧Spicy Potatoe Slices 4,50€ 🇩🇪Teigtaschen mit Thunfisch 🇬🇧Spanish Samosa filled w/ Tuna & Peppers 5,90€

We stumbled upon Las Tapas at Schneider-Wibbel-Gasse 2-4 during our stay in Düsseldorf, and what a wonderful surprise it was! Nestled in a quiet little side street—just steps from the lively river promenade and near the historic Rathaus—this area feels like a peaceful corner of Spain in the bustling Altstadt.

The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, even though it’s right in the center of everything. The street is lined with mostly Spanish restaurants, but Las Tapas stood out for its warm welcome and outstanding food. We came as a family—two adults and two kids—and everyone loved it. The tapas were absolutely delicious: perfectly hot, flavorful, and served promptly. From classic patatas bravas to sizzling gambas al ajillo, everything was fresh and authentic.

The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always smiling and making sure we had everything we needed without ever being pushy. It’s rare to find a place that’s both so central and so genuinely pleasant.

Highly recommended if you’re in Düsseldorf and looking for real Spanish flavors in a relaxed and...

Excellent location in the heart of old town Düsseldorf. Service was fantastic as was the speed of dishes coming out of the kitchen. The food quality was a bit so so - chorizo isn't what you'd expect being cold and thinly presliced, more suited to a sandwich. Octopus was quite fishy, and patatas bravas were thinly sliced and fried without spices (more like common chips than anything else). Bread was also very basic sliced French baguette, slightly stale. Sauces themselves were good though lacking in quantity - aioli could have used some salt however. Highlight was the jamon and pedron peppers which were up to the normal standard you'd expect. We paid about €80 for three people and about 7 dishes, 1l house red and a cola the to which is about the norm. Overall if they went back to basics with traditional dishes I think this could be a great place, as the waiters are experienced, funny and efficient it's just food quality...
