I visited my friends who were hanging out there yesterday. It was a horrible night, because one of the waiter came and started talking to us in a very disrespectful way. He asked only us to leave the space as we were foreigns but all the other tables that were Germans didn’t bother!

My friend bought a big bottle of beer and payed more money of course to hang out there, but no-one told him that it was takeaway, after taking a seat they started being aggressive and asking to leave the place!

Racist and materialistic place! Don’t go there if you aren’t German or rich!

Steinbach Bräu Erlangen is a brewery where you can spend an amazing evening together with work colleagues, friends and last but not least with family. In a brewery environment, you can taste, in winter or summer, the specific Bavarian regional delicacies and the absolutely extraordinary draft beer. In the summer you can enjoy a pleasant atmosphere with lights, in the summer garden. I recommend everyone from the area or tourists from all over the world who visit Erlangen to taste the delicacies of the local cuisine with an exceptional beer.

Think I'm being charitable with three stars but it's a brewery and sure popular the night we were there. Don't understand why aside from the very cute Biergarten with lots of nice touches. Unfortunately, one of them is not good beer. We tried two and both were about as tasteless as we've had in Franconia. If the food had been good, I could have forgiven the beer but my Bratwurst was the driest I've ever eaten. My wife had a reheated baked potato, which was also dry. Maybe it was an off night but a baked potato and Bratwurst aren't...
