Watch out for this place- Bad all you can eat experience The sign said all you can eat was 18 euros, the waitress inside said it was actually 23 euros. Ok, I paid, but it set the tone for a misleading experience. The waitress was the only person I interacted with and it was clear from the beginning that she did not care about my experience, and she did not care about making me feel welcome. Maybe it was because my German is not perfect and I had to ask her to repeat a few times what she had said, but she was curt, always sat behind the table away from me so I had to call out to get her attention, on her phone or otherwise distracted. This service left me feeling unwelcome and really had the biggest impact. Everything else I will mention in my review would have been far less worse, and I would not even have left this review, had the waitress and human interaction at least have been somewhat decent. Good fish is expensive, and skills cost time and money- but simple manners are free, after all.
Secondly, she asked me if I would like anything to drink, and I just said water. She did not told me it costed extra. She didn't ask me if I meant tap water (which I did) or a bottle of water. She did not tell me the price, which was a ridiculous 6 euros. She didnt let me pay, probably in the hope I would buy other things without knowing. While this is unfortunately becoming an increasingly popular tactic among restaurants, such a tactic is used by fast food places, where you're not charged 23 euros for a meal- a significant amount. As a customer, I feel betrayed, and since this is my first time, I have lost all trust in this restaurant.
The food itself was OK. The rice was nice, well seasoned. However, I had specifically gone to eat raw fish- that which I can't as easily make at home- and it was clear that they wanted to save money above everything. The amount of raw fish was miniscule- I waited 15 minutes for the first 2 pieces of raw fish- and the whole time I wondered if the waitress had even sent the request. Again, there were 4 or 5 people, but I had received no attention from the waitress at all. I ate mostly rice. However, I can tell the chef was decent, so probably it's worth buying something on the menu.
Overall, I feel very disappointed with my experience. I paid 30 euros for a bunch of rice, a 6 euro water bottle, and a disinterested service. I would be careful...
Read moreGood day everyone, let's make some things clear about the rating of this place:
Don't get me wrong, the food is very good(as in tasty and delicious). They also respect the aspect and ingredients of the sushi menus. (I've come a few times because of some good combis). As a good point they also get you at the end of your meal, when you pay at the counter, 1 cracky snack with a cute message foretelling your little future per person.
Now, the catch is their menu is broken down into 2. It's eating sushi at the conveyor belt for a lower price(expensive in comparison to other countries) i.e 16.8 euros during the day and 21.8 during dinner time in comparison to 28 euros(if I'm not mistaken) for the ,,all you can eat''. 2.ALL YOU CAN EAT is basically almost the same as the one at the conveyor belt(running sushi) only that you get the possibility to order anything you want from the said menu but only 5 dishes every 15 minutes. (This includes the first choice within the price so you can seat at the conveyor)
Now the catch is, if you go for the running sushi whatever you see on the conveyor belt is the leftover of the orders of those ,,all you can eat''. For example, they order 2 pieces of a certain type of sushi, they're gonna get prepared it by the same chef but, you know that a full roll of sushi can be cut in 6 to 8 pieces. So if they order 2 or 4. The remaining will go on the belt(the ugly endings).
Because there's character limitations I'll write 1 more immediately after...
Read moreThe first all you can eat restaurant where a child under 3 years have to pay (6-7€) and the “train” menu is 18+€ but the train table had only couple of rolls moving, so we chose “alla card all you can eat menu” which was 28+€ First we waited 16 minutes for 3 dishes all fried, and springrolls were burnt black so was the rest of the dishes but this one in particular. Afterwards we had to wait 17-18 minutes for 1 portion of fried banana… One peace of Nigri per order, 5 plates per order every 15 minutes (which would be ok if the plates had reasonable amount of pieces) The waitress was unhelpful and unwelcoming at the beginning but at this point she became rude- on my question if the banana is coming she replied: Not my fault, I’m not the one cooking it. We arrived at 12:15 midday and left at 14h with only 3 rounds of orders because we were waiting an eternity for them to arrive in an empty restaurant. The restaurant had 3 other costumers in that moment (so no excuse of having a big order rush) the tablet was very complicated and constantly needed support from the staff, at the end we couldn’t pay with the card and had to pay with cash because the card limit is 40€ and my bill was 39,70€ and the waitress was proud saying: We didn’t charge you for banana, on the all you can eat Manu. Overall bad experience, poor service and too expensive for poor...
